8th Grade AVID

This is my 7th year teaching in Wichita Public Schools! I taught Language Arts for three years, I've been teaching English as a Second Language going on four years, and this will be my fourth year teaching AVID. I'm a 6th Grade Co-Team Lead, AVID Co-Coordinator and an administrative intern. Outside of Coleman I love cuddling with my baby girl, Anya, spending time with my husband and our big family, and playing with my dogs Roxy and Rizo.

I graduated from Wichita State University with my degree in Physical Education K-12 and I also have my masters in Sport Administration. I have been teaching PE for 9 years and this is my third year of teaching AVID. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, travel, and scrapbook! My favorite part of teaching is getting to know students better and learning more about them!
